Release Date: October 5, 2012

Tim Burton has to have one of the creepiest imaginations of all time. But for the most part, his movies have success. In “Frankenweenie,” a young boy tries out an experiment that he learns in his science class that will bring his dog back to life after it is hit by a car. After the experiment that Victor conducts is a success, Victor then has to deal with some consequences that he did not see would be in his future. Like most of Burton’s movies, this was one that was hard to sit through without looking at the time every two minutes. I do not know if it is the attempt of his dark humor, or something else, but I just cannot become interested in Burton’s movies. This flick has its moments, but nothing to gloat about.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars.
