“Inside Llewyn Davis”
Release Date: January 10, 2014
Simply put one of the worst movies I have ever seen. If I wanted to hear the dialogue to this film, which is someone swearing every other word, I would go to one of the local bars and even then, the people at the bar would make more sense than what was going on in this movie. Not sure if it is just me not being sympathetic to the main character, Llewyn Davis (Oscar Isaac) who is a struggling folk musician who has to crash at acquaintances homes every single night, but the more and more I watched this film, the less I became interested in the storyline. The Coen brothers usually put out superb work, but not this time around. I will give this movie a ½ star solely due to some of the catchy tunes that were played throughout the movie.
