“Bad Words”

“Bad Words”

Release Date: March 28, 2014

Here is a comedy that flew way below anyone’s radar. In Jason Bateman’s directorial debut, he stars as a school dropout and he finds a loophole in the rules of one of the biggest spelling bees and he decides to enter himself into the contest, despite being three times the age of most of the other competitors. Bateman’s dry humor is in full effect and most of the time, it is quite hilarious. For me, this movie barely misses the cut in getting the prominent 4 stars and the cut-off into being added to my wish list, but “Bad Words” is still a good comedy to watch if you ever have some free time on your hands.
