“The Skeleton Twins”

“The Skeleton Twins”

Release Date: September 12, 2014

Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig team up to show off their dramatic acting skills, with their superb comedy chemistry mixed in as well. Milo and Maggie Dean have not spoken to one another for ten years. With both of their lives spiraling out of control, they revert to a very dark place on the same day. The estranged twin’s lives will forever be changed after Maggie receives a crucial phone call just in the nick of time. Both Milo and Maggie still have huge obstacles to overcome before getting their lives back on track. Will the twins rekindling their relationship enough to keep them from committing suicide, or is there not enough time to save them?

Hader and Wiig are quite impressive in this movie. “The Skeleton Twins” is not all about the dramatic scenes, as there are a few scenes that will have you laughing as well. Since this movie deals with suicide and other dark aspects, this movie may hit a little close to home for some.
