Hello everyone. My name is Stephen Cooper and over the last couple of years, I have really become interested in writing about movies that I have seen. The more movie reviews I wrote, the more interested I became in the subject of movies. For the most part, I do my reviews on the films that have a wide released, but every now and then, I will come across a limited film that is too good to pass up and I will write my thoughts about those as well.
You know how most movie reviews go over the entire plot and such? Well, I am going to do my movie reviews a little different. With my reviews, I will write what I thought about the movie, but I will try my best not to give any spoilers away as I believe that if you already know what to expect in a movie, then the surprise factor of what will happen next is completely gone. My rating system will be a 5 star system.
Whatever movies I rate as a 4 or higher, I will add to my wish list of movies to own for myself. Currently I own around 180 films ranging from action, comedy, drama, horror and so on (Yes, I do like some Romantic movies, but that is probably my least favorite genre to watch). I feel like of the 180 films that I own, having all 23 James Bond films (some would say there are 24, but I am not going to count Never Say Never Again) is my favorite part of my collection. Also, once I complete all of the movies that I want to watch in a single year, I will put together my Top 20 Movies List of that particular year and I will have those lists published on December 31st of that particular year.
So far, I have completed writing reviews for the years 2010-2012 (Still have to transfer those reviews from my other website to put on here) and my goal is to have watched most of the movies ever made and write a review on them. This will more than likely take the rest of the life to complete. With new films being released on a weekly basis, I will do my best to make sure that I keep up with the newer films because that is what most people will be more interested in. Here recently, I have been going to the theater a lot more often, but for the most part, I usually wait until movies come out on DVD, so I can rent them from Netflix and Redbox.
